Taller de Interculturalidad con la Dra. Gabrielle Malfatti

La sesión del 31 de octubre estuvo dirigida a estudiantes de la Sede Principal que realizarán intercambios académicos en Perú y Chile.

El 31 de octubre y 1 de noviembre de 2018, la comunidad académica de UNIMINUTO Sede Principal tuvo la oportunidad de acoger la visita de la Dra. Gabrielle Malfatti, directora de Relacionamiento Global de la Facultad de Educación de la Universidad de Missouri-Columbia, quien desarrolló una serie de talleres organizados por la Oficina de Asuntos Internacionales de la Sede Principal y el CIIDE. 

Ambos eventos tuvieron un carácter participativo y en ellos, la Dra. Malfatti hizo énfasis en la necesidad de enfocar los retos de la internacionalización como experiencias que pueden transformar las subjetividades de aquellos que las experimentan, y a su vez incidir en los procesos de gestión educativa.

On October 31st and November 1st, 2018, the academic community of UNIMINUTO – Main Campus had the opportunity to welcome Dr. Gabrielle Malfatti, Director of Global Engagement in the College of Education of the University of Missouri. She developed a series of workshops organized by the Office of International Affairs and CIIDE.

Both events were participatory, and Dr. Malfatti emphasized the need to focus the challenges of internationalization as experiences that can transform the subjectivities of those who experience them, and in turn influence the educational leadership processes.
