StarScholars Network: El Impacto e Implicaciones del COVID19 en la Educación Superior Global.

Los directores de CIIDE- Dr. Fredy Cárdenas y la Dra. Pilar Mendoza compartieron en un panel con el Dr. Oleksiyenko el impacto del Covid-19 en las instituciones de educación superior en Colombia, Estados Unidos y Hong Kong así como las iniciativas y estrategias que las instituciones del país establecieron. Los panelistas se enfocaron en preguntas tales como los desafíos urgentes de la educación superior, oportunidades y retos de la reapertura en agosto de 2020 y las lecciones que la experiencia de la pandemia deja para la educación superior.

Este panel fue organizado por StarScholar Network (https://starscholars.org/) y se llevó a cabo el 28 de mayo de 2020. Asistieron aproximadamente 90 personas principalmente de países asiáticos, lo que implica un amplio impacto a nivel internacional de las acciones de ambas instituciones que alojan al CIIDE y los efectos de la pandemia en las iniciativas de investigación.

StarScholars Network: The Impacts and Implications of COVID-19 on Global Higher Education

The directors of CIIDE- Dr. Fredy Cárdenas and Dr. Pilar Mendoza- participated along with Dr. Oleksiyenko in a panel about the impact of Covid-19 on higher education institutions in Colombia, the United States and Hong Kong. They also shared initiatives and strategies that their institutions had established. The panelists focused on questions such as the urgent challenges of higher education, opportunities and challenges of the reopening in August 2020 and the lessons learned from the experience of the pandemic for higher education.

This panel, organized by the StarScholar Network (https://starscholars.org/), was held on May 28, 2020. Approximately 90 people attended, mainly from Asian countries, which implies a broad international impact of the actions of both institutions that host CIIDE and the effects of the pandemic on research initiatives.
